Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know to prepare for your visit to the centre and approach your treatment with complete peace of mind.

No, a medical prescription is not required to see a doctor, regardless of the speciality. Only physiotherapy sessions require a prescription in order to be reimbursed by your health insurance.

Reimbursement depends on the fee-agreement status of the practitioner consulted, as some have opted out of the national health insurance scheme. The fee-agreement status of each practitioner is indicated when booking the appointment.

This is the strength of our multidisciplinary approach. Our surgeons, physicians, physiotherapists and osteopaths all share the same secure medical record. This allows us to design your treatment plan together and monitor your progress in real time.

The simplest way is to use our online direct booking modules (available via Rosa on our Contact page). There, you can choose your practitioner and time slot in just a few clicks. For any urgent matters, our reception desk remains reachable by email at contact@orthochatelain.com.

Yes. Our patients' comfort begins right from the journey. The centre is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). It is served by trams 81, 8 and 93 as well as buses 54, 59, 60 and 71 (Bailli / Trinité stops). A paid public car park is available at Place du Châtelain, a few minutes' walk away.

Yes. Thanks to our exclusive partnership with Ortho4You, a bandage and technical support service is available right within the centre on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Your braces and orthopaedic equipment can be custom-fitted during these times.
