Introduction

Dr Deepa Pothalil is a neurologist, with particular expertise in electromyography (EMG) and clinical neurophysiology.

Trained at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCLouvain), she completed her neurology training with specialist training in clinical neurophysiology and movement disorders, notably in Brussels and Paris. She has extensive experience in EMG and neurophysiological investigations.

His work in EMG enables him to explore disorders of the peripheral nerves, nerve roots, plexuses and muscles, particularly in the context of radiculopathies, peripheral neuropathies, entrapment syndromes, pain or sensory and motor disorders.

She currently practises at CHIREC in Brussels, where she works in general neurology and neurological emergencies, as well as specialising in electromyography. She has also practised in several Brussels hospitals and at the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV).

At the Châtelain Orthopaedic Centre, Dr Pothalil performs electromyographic (EMG) examinations for the investigation of peripheral neurological conditions and disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
