Introduction

Dr Thomas Joachim is an orthopaedic surgeon at the Hôpitaux Iris Sud, where he is notably head of the orthopaedics unit at the Etterbeek-Ixelles site.

Trained in surgery in Lausanne and subsequently in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology at the ULB, he has been practising at the Hôpitaux Iris Sud since 2011. He specialises in acute and geriatric traumatology, as well as foot and ankle surgery.

An AO Trauma instructor, he also takes part in teaching traumatology and training orthopaedic surgeons.

Dr Joachim is also joining the team at the Châtelain Orthopaedic Centre, where he will offer specialist consultations in orthopaedics, trauma surgery and foot and ankle surgery.
